More than 100 alumni of the Los Angeles Herald Examiner gathered at the Los Angeles Press Club on March 13. Daily News editor Ron Kaye, former KCBS political editor Linda Breakstone and LA Times “Top of the Ticket” editor Don Frederick served on a panel to discuss the Examiner, hosted by moderator Alex Ben Block.
The evening served as a tribute to Herald Examiner editor James Bellows, who received a standing ovation from the standing-room-only crowd.
