The Los Angeles Press Club is getting into the movie business! For the first time we will vote on the best movie of the year. Our Veritas Award will go to Best Movie Based on or Inspired by a True Story.
“We believe that as journalists we are qualified to weigh in on the value of this genre of film, and want to offer the exciting chance to make journalists’ voices heard,” said Press Club President Robert Kovacik.
