Jessica graduated from the University of Southern California, receiving a master’s degree in Arts & Culture Reporting in 2022 and bachelor’s degrees in Journalism and Theatre in 2020. She is currently the Associate Editorial Director of Center Theatre Group. In addition, she is also a researcher for Hearst’s Alta Journal and a writer for The Eastsider LA.
She is a former Executive Editor, Managing Editor, and Arts, Culture & Entertainment editor of USC Annenberg Media. She is also a former Editor in Chief of the digital arts magazine Ampersand LA, where three of her articles were nominated for five Los Angeles Press Club awards.
Jessica is passionate about the myriad of ways entertainment and the arts intersect with identity, politics, and the world at large. Through her writing, she hopes to inspire community, empathy, and creativity to readers by expanding their worldview.
