Mya Constantino is a multimedia journalist based in Los Angeles. She graduated from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, where she received a bachelor’s degree in journalism and media studies in 2020.
Since then, Constantino has reported for The Press Democrat as a features and breaking news reporter. She recently completed a production internship at Crooked Media and is a Production Assistant for the YouTube docuseries, StyleLikeU.
She’s a former Assistant News Editor for her school’s newspaper, Scarlet & Gray Free Press, and a former news intern for the Las Vegas Review-Journal. In 2022, her story about grief during COVID-19 won an award in the Best of the West journalism contest.
She hopes to tell impactful stories in innovative ways across digital and video platforms and inspire others to question their fixed beliefs about the world. She reports on arts, entertainment, culture, business, and the environment.
