See the controversial political documentary “Outfoxed: Rupert Murdoch’s War on Journalism” and talk to the film’s creator and director, Robert Greenwald. Outfoxed takes a closer look at Fox News Channel’s way of presenting the news.

October 28th:
It’s been one of Hollywood’s most exclusive nightclubs for more than 40 years. In fact, it usually takes magic to get in.
Overlooking the city from its hillside perch on Franklin Avenue, the Magic Castle is a private haven for magicians and celebrities. Siegfried and Roy got their start here. So did David Copperfield. Orson Welles and Cary Grant were regulars. Today it’s Drew Barrymore, Jason Alexander and others.
It is a place where the walls talk, an invisible pianist takes requests and magicians amaze audiences nightly.
This is also the site of the second annual L.A. Press Club Halloween Party – to which you are invited!
Tickets are $75 per person and include the Magic Castle’s gourmet three-course steak or seafood dinner.
Seven magicians will entertain in three theaters, plus impromptu shows throughout the restored Victorian mansion.
The mansion opens at 5 p.m., dinner is at 8 and the castle closes at 1 a.m.
Dress code: Halloween costume or business attire for men, cocktail dress or pantsuits for ladies. No jeans or sneakers.
21 year and older only. Must be able top present valid picture ID.
