Xennia R. Hamilton was born in Sacramento and raised in Los Angeles. At the young age of five, the news and media appealed to her by way of local news, newspapers and magazines. Xennia also knew at that age that the entertainment industry was where she wanted to be and work. She began reading such publications as the Los Angeles Times and books by authors such as Charles Dickens, Toni Morrison, Emily Dickinson and many others. The world of literature and media allowed her to escape to worlds unknown.
In her recent stage of life, she has graduated from California State University, Los Angeles with a BA in journalism under the mentorship of KTLA veteran Journalist Eric Spillman, who has taught her many lessons about the journalism profession and industry. Xennia has also recently been published via internship and with the tutelage of The Hollywood Reporter.
