Application Deadline: Monday, July 30 Training Dates: September 23-26, Kansas City, Missouri The National Press Foundation is offering a four-day training program to explore the future of food and agriculture. Over four days, journalists will hear from experts on the ways food is grown, marketed, sold and, unfortunately, often wasted. They will learn about labeling, growing methods, GMOs, pesticide and herbicide use, as well as organic farming. The program includes field trips to labs and farms.
