George Pennacchio to Receive LA Press Club’s Luminary Award

George Pennacchio, entertainment reporter for ABC7 Eyewitness News and host of the station’s Oscars specials, is the Los Angeles Press Club’s 2018 recipient of the Luminary Award for Career Achievement. The award will be presented at the National Arts & Entertainment Journalism Awards Gala on December 2 at the Biltmore Hotel, downtown Los Angeles.

The Luminary Award honors individuals within the Entertainment Media for their Career Achievement.

On the same evening Carol Burnett will receive the clubs Legend Award. Los Angeles Times food critic Jonathan Gold will be honored posthumously with the Impact Award.
