The Los Angeles Press Club mourns the loss of two members of the NBC4 family in yesterday’s tragic helicopter crash. A tragedy for one member of the local journalism community is a tragedy for all of us.
Our condolences go to the NBC4 team and the families and friends grieving the loss of life in both the bus accident and helicopter crash in Chatsworth last night.
Eliana Moreno and George Marciniw had been flying together since 2023. They were among the many journalists who take risks to help their viewers better understand their communities. We honor their dedication to their work to inform people across Los Angeles.
