COME AND TOAST THE LA PRESS CLUB’S RECALL DEBATE SUCCESS AT OUR WINE AND CHEESE SOCIAL AND ANNUAL MEMBERS MEETING
The Press Club’s hosting of a Gubernatorial Debate this month attracted media coverage across the country and gave members a front row seat to history. Come celebrate our historic coup at the annual members meeting starting at 6 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 1. We’ll start with a wine and cheese social followed at 7:30 p.m. with reports on the club’s activities and ideas for the future. And, of course, all active members are urged to consider nominating themselves or others for a seat on the club’s Board of Directors. Be prepared to give a minute long introduction of yourself if you are running for the board. We want another hard-working, talented board next year to lead us in great activities!
Remember, come at 6 p.m. (or later if you must) on Wednesday, Oct. 1, to the club’s NEW headquarters, 6464 Sunset Blvd., suite 806, (two blocks west of the old headquarters) before the refreshments run out!
