L.A. PRESS CLUB TO HOST GUBERNATORIAL DEBATE

The Los Angeles Press Club, in an effort to inform and educate voters about the recall election, is hosting a September 17th debate in Hollywood.
The Press Club believes that face-to-face appearances serve the public interest by giving voters a chance to compare candidates in a neutral setting. Candidates will be questioned by Bill Rosendahl and Patt Morrison, both award- winning Los Angeles journalists and former LAPC presidents.
Candidates who have thus far accepted the invitation from the Press Club are Cruz Bustamante, Peter Camejo, Arianna Huffington and Tom McClintock.
The debate will be held in the comfortable state-of-the-art auditorium at the Los Angeles Film School Building located at 6363 Sunset Boulevard, Hollywood, on September 17th at 3 p.m. An audience of Press Club members and credentialed working media will be present in the 350-seat auditorium.
The format will consist of opening statements from each candidate of one minute, followed by questions from Patt Morrison and Bill Rosendahl and the candidate’s closing comments of one minute. The program is expected to run about 90 minutes.
