A Tribute to Stan Chambers

The Greater Los Angeles Chapter of the Society of Professional Journalists and KTLA/WB invite you to the Stan Chambers Lifetime Achievement Award Banquet on Saturday, July 30, 2005.

In his 58 years at KTLA, Stan Chambers has covered everything from fires and riots to earthquakes and parades. He covered the collapse of the Baldwin Hills dam, the assassination of President John F. Kennedy and the 1994 Northridge earthquake. Mr. Chambers has interviewed Richard Nixon, Ronald Reagan and many others. Today, he’s still out in the field, providing inspiration to a new generation of journalists.

Join us in celebrating Mr. Chambers’ impressive career.

Date: Saturday, July 30, 2005
Time: Reception at 6 p.m.; dinner at 7 p.m.
