The Los Angeles Press Club has three new board members!
Brittany Levine Beckman, Mashable; Josh Campbell, CNN; and John Gittelsohn, Bloomberg have been elected to join the LAPC board of directors. They have been elected for a two-year period. Our members also re-elected Deepa Fernandes, PRI/Freelance; Nic Cha Kim, Spectrum News 1; Adam Rose, CBS interactive and Malina Saval, Variety.
Current LAPC board president Chris Palmeri is stepping down from the board after four years. Peggy Holter is also leaving the board. We thank them for their service.
Seven board members are up for re-election in a year. They are Ina von Ber, USPA; Cher Calvin, KTLA; Scott Feinberg, THR; Claudia Oberst, international journalist; George Pennacchio, KABC-7; Lisa Richwine, Reuters and Gerri Shaftel Constant, KCBS/KCAL.
The press club will elect new officers, including the president, at its next board meeting in February.
