he Los Angeles Press Club is proud to announce that Katharine “Kat” Kramer has joined the club’s esteemed Advisory Board.
“Ms. Kramer has a unique connection to both the current as well as the historic Hollywood, which we feel will be a tremendous asset for the club,” said Press Club President Robert Kovacik.
Katharine Kramer is an actress, singer and producer, and the proud founder of “Kat Kramer’s Films That Change the World,” showcasing movies that raise awareness about important social issues. In so doing, she follows in the footsteps of her late father, the legendary producer/director Stanley Kramer, who was famous for taking artistic and financial chances to make relevant movies about injustice and controversial subjects.
“I believe I can continue to raise the profile and spread awareness about the Los Angeles Press Club, and to motivate future generations to become involved as well as expand educational outreach,” said Ms. Kramer.
Ms. Kramer is named Katharine after her famous Godmother Katharine Hepburn. She is also the West Coast representative of the Katharine Hepburn Cultural Arts Center.
