The Los Angeles Press Club is proud to announce that Tarana Burke, founder of the #MeToo Movement, will accept the Club’s Impact Award. RTNA condemns San Francisco Police Department Raids on Journalist’s Home

The Radio and Television News Association of Southern California issued a statement condemning the raid on San Francisco Freelance Journalist Brian Carmody’s home and the offices of North Bay News by the San Francisco Police Department. The SFPD conducted its raid after Carmody refused to identify a source who leaked to him an internal police report regarding the death of Public Defender Jeff Adachi.
