Dana Amihere and Sandro Monetti Join LAPC Board of Directors

AfroLA founder and Executive Director Dana Amihere and award-winning journalist and showbiz pro Sandro Monetti have joined the Los Angeles Press Club board of directors for a two-year term after having been voted in by members earlier this month.

Incumbents Arturo Carmona, president of the Latino Media Collaborative and Calo News; John Gittelsohn, Bloomberg News Los Angeles bureau chief; Nic Cha Kim, senior producer of arts and culture at PBS SoCal; Adam Rose, deputy director of advocacy for the Freedom of the Press Foundation; and Chris Willman, Variety senior writer and chief music critic, will continue to serve on the board for another two-year term.

Los Angeles Times entertainment and features editor Brittany Levine Beckman and Sarah Krouse, technology and media editor at The Wall Street Journal, are stepping down. We thank them for their time and service.
