Just as a reminder, your Los Angeles Press Club membership comes with the added benefit of free art classes. Not only is this a fun way to learn how to draw and paint – you will be part of a worldwide community of journalists from Los Angeles, New York, Washington, Germany, France, Poland, Italy, India and beyond.
There are art classes every day of the week except Mondays (click here for the new art class schedule).
Starting this Sunday, the program will host a rotating set of mini-courses, each taught by a different instructor, on different subjects. Draw and Paint with Procreate, on April 10, 24, and May 1, is up first, with Emma Bergman helping you learn how to create digital drawings and paintings using this popular Apple product.
You don’t need to register, just click the Zoom link provided on the Art at Work portal, which is the same for all classes. All classes are recorded on a YouTube channel you can access, should you miss the class.
