BEST USE OF SOCIAL MEDIA TO ENHANCE and/or COVER A STORY, by a group
JOVRNALISM Staff, JOVRNALISM, “Trashed: The Tijuana River Valley Pollution Crisis”

Judges’ comment: This is a great way to take a reader to the scene of the story. This is a good out-of-the-box example of using social media to enhance coverage. It goes beyond simply recording a video or going live on social. This is a user experience that readers can experience on their own time and not necessarily while scrolling through a newsfeed.
