Application Deadline: Monday, July 30
Training Dates: September 23-26, Kansas City, Missouri
The National Press Foundation is offering a four-day training program to explore the future of food and agriculture. Over four days, journalists will hear from experts on the ways food is grown, marketed, sold and, unfortunately, often wasted. They will learn about labeling, growing methods, GMOs, pesticide and herbicide use, as well as organic farming. The program includes field trips to labs and farms.
This four-day training will be held Sept. 23-26, 2018, in Kansas City.
The all-expenses-paid fellowship covers airfare, ground transportation, hotel costs and most meals. NPF offers this professional development opportunity for journalists to enhance skills, increase knowledge and recharge their reporting on one of today’s most critical issues. This program is for U.S.-based journalists only.
