Riordan’s Original Pantry Restaurant
You are invited to meet visiting Democratic National Convention journalists at a casual lunch with Mayor Richard Riordan at Riordan’s Original Pantry Restaurant. This event is for Press Club members only, and will be held Wednesday, Aug. 9 from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.
The Pantry is located at 9th Street and Figueroa Avenue in Downtown Los Angeles. Lunch is pay-as-you-go, and the prices are moderate. The Mayor will close his always-crowded restaurant to the public for this private event. The Press Club has invited early arriving out-of-town journalists to join us. The Mayor will visit from table to table and give a short speech about the Convention.
