TO LIVE AND DIE IN IRAQ: THE WAR : THREE YEARS LATER Thursday, March 9th

Thursday, March 09, 2006 1:08 PM

On March 19th, 2003 The United States and its coalition allies launched an air and ground assault on Iraq. Little more than three weeks later Saddam Hussein and his Baathist regime were overthrown, but the “War” was not over.

The debate rages on, as does the War, with Iraqis, US soldiers, journalists and many others, all living, fighting, dying and trying to report on the conflict.
It’s the biggest story of the past three years and seems it will remain that way for some time to come.

We’ll take a wide scope in discussing the PAST, PRESENT and FUTURE of the conflict in Iraq. A lively evening of journalism, analysis, perspective, examination and for sure a lot of opinion! The debate continues to rage from Washington to Baghdad, London to Damascus and we’ll bring a little piece of it to the LA Press Club for at least 2 hours on March 9th!

We’ll bring together a panel of journalists from across the media “frontlines” of TV, Print and online reporting to discuss “The War in Iraq” – Three Years Later.
